During the final weekend of our Threading the Needle exhibition, The Church will hosted an artist round table featuring Helena Hernmarck and Toni Ross. Through their works, these artists ask essential questions about the evolving nature of both the aesthetic and artistic experiences. The exhibition, Threading the Needle, explores what happens when the conceptual approaches of contemporary art intersect with the expertise and skill of weaving and fabric-based practices and craft. The two artists will speak on their work in the context of their individual practices and within the exhibition, where their pieces have been presented in close proximity to each other in the gallery space. The round table was moderated by Co-Curator of the exhibition and Chief Curator of The Church, Sara Cochran.
