Angel Dimayuga (they/she) is a Los Angeles and NYC-based transdisciplinary culinary artist and cultural producer who creates ephemeral experiences as social praxis. A critically acclaimed chef, they blend conceptual and sensory approaches in food, art, theater, tech, nightlife, and community spaces. Centering flavor to reach diverse groups, they advocate for care through celebrating immigrant, ancestral and QTNB BIPOC storytelling. Recent projects include an experimental talk show and theater dinners at Performance Space NY and for Madrid’s Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, curating an online archive on fermentation for London’s Serpentine Gallery, and a gala dinner for Foundation Beyeler in Switzerland.  Angel is the co-author of Filipinx: Heritage Recipes from the Diaspora, a cookbook-manifesto merging anthropology, memoir, and design.
