Daniel T. Gaitor-Lomack’s work taps into the social and spiritual dimensions of the everyday in an ongoing dialogue between self, environment, and object. His idiosyncratic approach to artmaking relies upon a careful balance of chance and deep consideration, allowing for each work and performance to be rooted in his own history while encouraging personal, meditative interpretation. He has presented solo exhibitions at Night Gallery, Lyles & King, Alyssa Davis Gallery, and Maple St. Construct. His work has been featured in recent group shows at Night Gallery, Public Gallery, James Cohan Gallery, Jeffrey Deitch, Welancora Gallery, HVW8 Art + Design Gallery, PPOW Gallery, and Outono Projects, among others.
