We are pleased to offer a free docent tour to our community. No RSVP or booking is necessary. Join us at 3:30 PM for a deeper look at our current exhibition, Are You Joking? Women and Humor. Thank you to Lorinda Ash for donating her time for this tour. 

  • LORINDA ASH has been involved in the art world for 35 years, in sales at Gagosian Gallery for 10 years, and as a private art advisor.

    In 1998, Lorinda founded a private art advisory business, Ash Fine Art. She and her staff work with private and corporate clients, advising them on the acquisition and sale of modern and contemporary fine art. 

    They have worked with some of the art world’s most renowned public and private collections including, London’s Saatchi Gallery and the Broad Foundation in Los Angeles. Some of her notable private clients include the late Samuel Heyman, Stefan Edlis, the Taubman Family, Richard and Barbara Lane, and Mort Zuckerman, to name just a few.   Lorinda has close relationships with galleries and artists, auction houses, other private dealers and advisors, and art fairs, enabling her to offer the highest quality works of art to her clients.  

    Lorinda had been a longtime Contributing Editor for AVENUE magazine, writing about the art world. She served on the board of Armitage Gone! Dance, is currently on the board of the Museum at Eldridge Street, Generation SOS, and On This Spot, which produces documentary short films on woman artists.  She is also a member of the The Association of Professional Art Advisors.  She was born and raised in Manhattan. She has recently worked in California, Colorado, Connecticut, England, Florida, France,  Illinois, London, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Texas.
