The Church was pleased to host journalist, author, and Sag Harbor resident Amanda M. Fairbanks speaking on her widely praised book The Lost Boys of Montauk. Described by New York Times bestselling author Ron Suskind as “an honest and touching book, and a hell of a story”, the story follows the commercial fishing boat Wind Blown as it leaves Montauk Harbor in March of 1984 for a routine offshore voyage.
Ms Fairbanks 's talk was accompanied by a slideshow by Morgan McGivern, whose photographs illustrated the book.
