An Americana acoustic rock troubadour, an international cabaret singer, and a lesbian punk rock band walk into a Church … and treat us to an evening of laughter, joy, and camaraderie!  Our Summer Thursday Concert Series concludes with a musical showcase of women and humor with guests Inda Eaton, Susanne Mack, and The Fistys.

In tandem with the theme of our exhibition, each performer will present a selection of songs they feel explores humor through music. Come celebrate the final days of our summer exhibition, with a song and a laugh, as we head into fall remembering why women’s voices matter.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

INDA EATON

  • INDA EATON – singer, songwriter, storyteller and nomadic troubadour, has graced stages across the globe with her original Americana acoustic rock music. Her previous albums, including ‘Shelter in Place’ and ‘Go West’, have garnered critical acclaim and touched hearts worldwide. Currently on tour with ‘Free to Roam’ this summer, she continues her artistic journey, inviting audiences to join her on this intimate exploration.

Inda’s humor, free-spirited emotionality, and literate flair make her songs feel as comfy as a favorite pair of jeans. Inda’s vocals have a whiskey and honey-tinged raspy quality that’s both stirring and soothing. Her stories and musings feel instantly resonate. Inda’s songwriting spans fist-pumping anthemics and bucolic balladeering, and it embraces a wide swath of influences, including country, classic rock, folk, and pop. Inda’s music is featured on all streaming services (i.e., Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Pandora and YouTube Music).www.indaeaton.com
