Wake up your joints and stretch into Spring as Dina K returns to The Church! Join us as our meditation and movement guide from our Spring Jubilee returns as a Wellness Wednesday speaker, guiding us through some gentle joint work and stretches that promote good posture and mobility.
“We need to first establish a conscious awareness of how we embody our physical bodies,” says Dina. “When we take full responsibility for how we think and feel in our bodies then we can start working toward a healthier, more balanced existence. Taking action from that empowered state makes it much more likely to heal and transform our being.”
Led by an expert from the healing or wellness space, Wellness Wednesdays harnesses the wealth of experience and expertise of our local area, which is rich in wellness leaders, and offers it back to the community. This new series celebrates and explores one’s creative self, centering on personal wellness in mind, body, and spirit. From yoga to gong immersions to lectures and conversations and beyond, Wellness Wednesdays occur the third Wednesday of every month at 10 AM, with a different iteration each time.
Aligned with our existing programs Insight Sundays and Knowledge Fridays, which provide insight into the creative processes of artists and the lives of community leaders, respectively, Wellness Wednesdays encourages attendees to position themselves as dynamic conduits of energy and creativity.

Dina is a certified yoga instructor with over 800 hours of training and 20 years of teaching. She is also a certified NASM Personal Trainer and Thai Masseuse, having studied at the TMC School of Massage in Thailand. Using a wide range of fitness modalities– with a focus on body awareness and corrective exercises– Dina accommodates for the unique and changing needs of her clients. Dina has lived and worked in Jordan, Beirut, Dubai; New York, and now lives in Sag Harbor.
