Malori Taft

Visitor Engagement Associate

Malori graduated in 2013 from Adelphi University with her BFA in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History. There she was given the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy and learn from the Masters themselves. Malori spent the next few years teaching art classes and facilitating various camps, as well as after school programs, which in turn, catapulted her decision to return to Adelphi to pursue her Master’s in Art Education. Since graduating in 2019, Malori has taught as a Museum Educator at the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum and as a Kindergarten and First Grade Art Educator for the Island Trees School District. Ever since Malori can remember, the arts have been a part of her soul. Malori believes, much like Picasso, “that every child is an artist” and that, if given the opportunity, everyone has the ability to flourish creatively.
