Nanette Carter

Nanette Carter was born in Columbus, Ohio and attended Oberlin college for her BA. She received her MFA from Pratt Institute of Art in New York and taught drawing there for 20 years. Her works have been exhibited around the globe, Senegal, Togo, Brazil, Italy, Germany, England, Syria and Japan. Nanette has received numerous grants, which include the NEA, Anonymous Was a Woman, The Gottlieb Foundation and The Pollock-Krasner Foundation. She is in several Museums and Corporate Offices. Carter currently resides in New York City.  

As a resident, Carter will explore practices in drypoint and collagraph printmaking.
