Susan Bachemin
Printmaker-in-Residence
Susan is an artist-printmaker and arts-educator with a BFA in printmaking from Carnegie Mellon University. Her multi-tiered experience in a variety of printing disciplines has enabled her the privilege of assisting extraordinary artists at the press, in concert with a career of travel creating public and private mural and print commissions featured in publications such as World of Interiors, NYT Styles, and New York Behind Closed Doors (Polly Devlin). While co-owner of her Brooklyn-based design partnership SB Studios LLC, she independently exhibited in group shows at various venues including Ronald Feldman and Ridge Street galleries. Currently rooted in this extraordinary community of east end artists, as Printmaker-in Residence at The Church, Susan embraces the role of facilitator of prints as a missionary of the monotype, intaglio, and silkscreen processes, and as an advocate for art access for all.
