Céline Antoine is a certified breathwork guide who takes great joy in helping people to reconnect to the pure intention of their hearts. Join us for this Wellness Monday as Céline leads us in an intensive Healing Breathwork class.  Bring your yoga mat and a blanket for comfort, and wear comfortable clothing, as we mindfully use our breath to strengthen our connection to self and access the secrets of our hearts where our purest intention and inner wisdom reside.

Healing Breathwork, also called circular breath, is a potent active technique that helps release stress, anxiety, and stuck emotions from the body, strengthening our intuition and connection to self. This class may help participants to gain deep insights or experience profound breakthroughs. Many times, participants have such a powerful and transformational experience that the simple yet active technique resonates in the body well after the session has ended.

Please note: this is an intense breath work class and is not recommended for those with heart problems, unmedicated high blood pressure, glaucoma or a detached retina, or if you are pregnant.

Led by an expert from our healing or wellness space, Wellness Mondays harness the wealth of experience and expertise of our local area, which is rich in wellness leaders, and offers it back to the community. This series celebrates and explores one’s creative self, centering on personal wellness in mind, body, and spirit.

Aligned with our existing programs Insight Sunday and Knowledge Friday, which provide insight into the creative processes of artists and the lives of community leaders, respectively, wellness Mondays encourages attendees to position themselves as dynamic conduits of energy and creativity.

  • Originally from France, Céline moved to NYC in 2000. Her spiritual journey started in 2004 during a trip to India where she fell in love with yoga; its physical practice, the reverence to the body and its spiritual aspect, which she considers a huge eye opener. Since then, her connection to spirit and the invisible grew bigger and bigger. She has been teaching yoga for the past 17 years mainly in NYC and Shelter Island, where she relocated to in 2023. She teaches group classes, retreats, and private sessions. She’s led many teacher trainings for Yogaworks for over a decade in the United States and in France.

She has had the honor to have been recognized for her work, and the pleasure of writing five books for the French market about yoga and specific issues that are part of a Yoga Therapy collection.

She is a highly sensitive person. It took her a long time to be able to work with it rather than feeling it was a disadvantage in life. It allows her to connect to energy and to feel what others are experiencing. Through her sensitivity and training, she honed her intuitive abilities to guide people with soul readings. Her soul readings allow people to feel seen, heard, and understood on a soul level, giving them clarity where they feel stuck.

During her downtime, you’ll find Céline walking in nature, her greatest source of inspiration, nurturance, and belonging. She will most likely be walking with her husband, with whom she has shared her life for the past 26 loving years.
