  • The Church 48 Madison Street Sag Harbor, NY, 11963 United States (map)

Tickets

  • General Ticket: $10

  • Member Ticket: Free, RSVP Required

Join us as we awaken our body’s natural ability to harmonize using the ancient Japanese practice of Jin Shin Jyutsu with wellness leaders Susan Remkus-Denis and Maria Maier. The pair will give a brief presentation about the origins and basic components of the practice, outlining why it is an effective and ideal approach for healthcare professionals and self-care seekers alike. After the presentation, attendees will apply the technique while relaxing with the sounds of crystal singing bowls.

Translating as the “art of the creator through the person of awareness and compassion,” with roots in traditional Asian medicine, Jin Shin Jyutsu uses gentle touch to help restore the natural flow of life energy through the body. Tapping (pun intended) into the body’s ability to regenerate, the practice increases awareness of body, mind, and spirit, promoting homeostasis. Quartz crystal transforms energy, making crystal singing bowls, a great accompaniment to the healing modality of Jin Shin Jyutsu. The sound of the bowls blend with your bodies’ energy allowing for relaxation and supports the body’s natural healing ability.
